TWO-DAY EVENT:

SOA Governance

Presented by the IT Governance Network
Book Now! - limited numbers

A two-day course to help participants develop a thorough understanding of essential SOA Governance activities.

Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) is a significant step forward in aligning information technology with business goals. It has the potential to fulfil business requirement for information technology to be more flexible, extensible, responsive, resilient, dynamically reconfigurable and cost-efficient.

SOA can add real value and significantly transform the business, if properly deployed. In a business world of heightened competition, a growing number of complex regulations, and constant change, implementing IT governance has not been easy.

All aspects of IT, starting with strategic planning and proceeding to execution and monitoring, ought to be closely managed and continuously improved. With SOA this is absolutely essential.

SOA adds new challenges and hence extends the current IT governance processes.

This course offers practical knowledge of how to actually implement SOA governance. SOA governance goes beyond adding governance technology or focusing on the planning, runtime and change management activities. While automated solutions for design time and runtime governance are necessary to effectively manage SOA implementations, so too are the processes that ensure system agility and reusability translates into real value for the business.
